Q:  As a parent of a cheerleader, how should I expect to help the BYFC?
A:  The BYFC is a non-profit organization driven by volunteers. Parent participation is mandatory to help cover the many duties and keep the organization operating. Every family is required to participate in the fundraiser or “opt-out” by paying a fee at registration, as well as work during the season at home games.  Field Duty Schedules are coordinated by the designated Team Mom.   Some of the available jobs include: working the concession stand or gate, operating the game clock, announcing, spotting (assisting announcer and time clock operator), and chain crew. These tasks must be covered for home games.

Q:   What is the practice schedule? How many days? How Long?
A:  For the first few weeks cheer will practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 6-730pm.  Once the girls are comfortable with the half time routine, fight song and sideline cheers we will hold practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
